As part of the ACIN’s commitment of upskilling our Students we have partnered with Deedbees to provide targeted mentoring/support to young people like yourself who are interested in a career in Insurance. Their high quality mentors and advisors are experienced professionals already working in the industry. And the best part is, you choose your focus area and they match you with a mentor either once-off, or multiple sessions with different mentors; without any long-term commitments!

Sherayne Scott

Student Relations

Sherayne entered the insurance industry through an internship with AIG. She then joined as a graduate in the Internal Audit function and is now an Internal Auditor providing assurance in areas such as investments, operations and line of businesses operating in Europe, Middle East and Africa. She has a degree in Law, a masters in International Business, an international diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance and is MICA qualified with chartership status. Alongside insurance, her interests lie in project management and she is currently completing the Prince 2 Agile course to support transformation in the insurance industry.

Sherayne sits on the steering committee/ executive team of the Afro-Caribbean Insurance Network (ACIN) and is passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion within the insurance market whilst uplifting those from underrepresented backgrounds.
